Efficiency

In 1992, Jerry E. Ritchie founded Ritchie Automation to revolutionize system integration efficiency for automated paint finishing and factory automation systems. We currently design, develop, and integrate everything from stand-alone process control systems to complete automated painting lines, both robotic and non-robotic.

We began in Indianapolis, IN as a finishing system integrator, engineering automated paint systems designed for optimal operational and transfer efficiency. We've expanded operations to include all industries that benefit from our conventional and electrostatic finishing techniques. Industries such as plastics, furniture, appliances, even windmill blades have taken advantage of our experience and expertise in paint application.

We're also capable of optimizing any factory automation system, capturing valuable operational data and converting it into useful information to improve efficiency. Our simple and style-based paint triggering systems are prime examples of our ability to provide automation solutions.

In addition to paint systems, we've also developed unique robotic assembly systems designed for repetitive insertion and assembly tasks. ARBIS, a robotic system designed to simultaneously place multiple return bends, has become a standardized product for AC/refrigeration manufacturers.

In 2005, we relocated our headquarters to Nashville, TN in order to combine resources with our industrial partner, C&C Industrial Sales (CCIS). Since 1977, CCIS has distributed painting & finishing equipment to the Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi areas.

In 2007, we added T&G Industrial Equipment to our list of partners. Founded in 1977, T&G specializes in paint finishing production products, including conveyors, washers, spray booths, and industrial ovens.
