Any industry can benefit from Ritchie's automated finishing equipment and industrial paint system controls. Our flexible, high quality paint system components deliver maximum transfer efficiency, safety, and compatibility with our industry-leading simple and style-based triggering systems.
Industries Served:
Our custom disk system controls manage reciprocator motion, atomization speed, fluid flow rate, high holtage (HV) levels, and color selection/change for rotary disk paint applicators. These controls are application specific, allowing full customization based on part size, type, or coating material for uniformity in finishing results.
We design and implement human/machine interfaces (HMI) that make it simple to monitor disk system control operations. We can also employ server application systems to manage larger assortments of part styles and types to be painted and for production tracking. Our controls are compatible with all major disk systems, including ITW Ransburg's Turbodisk.
Advantages of Disk System Controls
We custom build industrial robotic automation system controls based on your finishing or automation specifications. Robotic automation allows for consistent transfer results, reduced operating costs, and an overall increase in the quality of automation processes.
Our robotic automation system controls provide a centralized location for master control, reporting, and automation monitoring.
Advantages of Industrial Robotic Automation System Controls
We have extensive experience developing reciprocator controls for all hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic reciprocators. Our reciprocator controls, available for manual or automatic PLC controls, manage stroke length, stroke speed, and turn around speed for disks, spray guns, and rotary atomizers/bells.
Advantages of Reciprocator Controls
Our powder paint and liquid paint finishing application equipment controls provide analog or closed loop control of spray gun applicators and bells, including management of:
We also provide fluid controls utilizing gear pumps, flowmeters & regulators, and dosing equipment for 1K closed loop flow control or 2K mixing and metering.
As an integral component of finishing systems, spray booths require specialized controls. Ritchie Automation provides spray booth controls with on/off push button control, or variable frequency drive (VFD) control of intake and exhaust fans. Spray booth controls contain provisions for safety interlocks, meeting finishing system requirements such as robot/machine guards, high voltage (HV) controls, and paint application triggers.
Ritchie Automation also provides spray booth controls capable of automatic booth balancing. Using manometer and/or magnehelic pressure gauges, the condition of the spray booth filters is monitored. This information is used to adjust supply fan and/or exhaust fan speed to compensate for filter condition. This monitor can also provide a method for determining when spray booth filters require replacement.
Ritchie Automation can automate any process of oven operation control, including temperature, combustion blowers, and exhaust fans. Industrial oven controls are available with simple pushbutton controls or operational touch screen PLC and variable frequency drive (VFD) motor controls depending on the required level of automation.
Ritchie Automation can apply any combination of conveyor controls to chain on edge and power and free conveyor systems. Conveyor controls are fully customizable based on the application, and include:
